I noticed the dark horizon as I biked with our group on the way to Ternate Cavite.  I took this picture at C6;  notice the rust color of the sky:

These are superb pictures of the jeepneys doing the things they love most doing:  transporting passengers efficiently, they making livelihood, and us living less.

It takes a special kind of skill to take these pictures;  sometimes, you see, sometimes you don't.   If you do not time your shot perfectly, you miss seeing/recording the plume of smoke and you end up with a clean picture

This might be boring - taking pictures, posting them in this blog and nothing happens!!!

                               Tricycle and jeepney in a contest who is the best polluter?

My bike ride today has been punctuated by taking too many stops to take pics of air quality.  Thanks to unlimited digital capacity, many pictures can be taken without film expenses and can be posted quickly.

However, for most people, they may look the same and becomes boring afterwards.  Novelty and newness is lost.

However, I am persistent and I will persist until people notice.

Why are tricycles on the highway spewing pollution?

                               Polluting with impunity;  no one notices

                                   His pollution is very visible;  not toxic and deadly?

                                  Going up to Robinson Homes, Teresa

                                  The air is whitish yonder because of tricycles

                                        Can we survive the daily onslaught from the tricycles?

My lectures at a training institute for insurance execs gave me the opportunity to take pictures of other vehicles which are violating the clean air act.  Mind you, the vehicle that I brought is brand new and Euro 4 compliant.

Here are some of the pictures:

                         It is overloaded, no TPM, and air cleaner and oil may be dirty/old
