I visited a grandmother in the 1990s in the US. And as soon as I saw her, she said she wanted to go home and I thought she was kidding. But when it was time for me to go, she clung to me begging that she join me in going home. Of course that was not possible.
She was able to come home some 2 weeks after. But she died two months later of lung cancer. I was wondering then how come she died so quickly.
I now know why; the fumes from the tricycles may be was the culprit.
This site would like followers and leaders to be aware of air pollution and how it impacts our lives and health. We seem to be uncaring about this growing serious problem which we know is there but we do nothing. Shall we wait for air pollution to be as serious as in Beijing? When do we act?
