Despite the present danger posed by air pollution and smoke belching, very few has been written or documented on the subject matter. (Is it verbotem? or the business supplying the products, or the motor vehicle industry has such a big clout to keep this under the rugs?) Or is it simply our cavalier attitude towards the subject matter.
"What is essential is invisible to the naked eye" What can affect our health and longevity is invisible to the naked eye. Thus, we can be oblivious to the problem.
WHO through IARC has all ready ruled that diesel smoke is carcinogenic. And that 5,000 deaths a year or 12% of the total annual deaths are attributed to smoke pollution
This site would like followers and leaders to be aware of air pollution and how it impacts our lives and health. We seem to be uncaring about this growing serious problem which we know is there but we do nothing. Shall we wait for air pollution to be as serious as in Beijing? When do we act?
